Man Dies At Hospital Days After Baltimore Shooting, Suspect Charged With Murder: Police

A 42-year-old shooter has been charged with murder after his victim died following an incident in Baltimore earlier this month.

City resident Leon Spencer is behind bars following the investigation into a shooting on Tuesday, July 16 that left a man with critical injuries, authorities announced.

According to the Baltimore Police Department, a verbal dispute turned deadly for 32-year-old John Parrish in the 3200 block of Lawnview Avenue, where he was shot, sending him to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Parrish was treated and evaluated, but police say he died two days later on July 18.

On Tuesday, July 23, the department announced that Spencer has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
